Breathwork for Relaxation 

Breathwork techniques can be very effective for promoting relaxation by influencing the nervous system and reducing stress. Deep, controlled breathing activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for the "rest and digest" response, counteracting the "fight-or-flight" response triggered by stress. 

This can lead to physiological changes like lowered blood pressure, reduced heart rate, and decreased levels of stress hormones. Additionally, breathwork can help focus the mind and redirect attention away from anxious thoughts.
